Case study · Physiotherapy clinic, Dubai
119 patient enquiries in 7 weeks for a physiotherapy clinic in Dubai
A licensed physiotherapy clinic was spending about AED 3,000 a month on Google Ads and could not tell which clicks turned into patients. The WhatsApp buttons on the website were not tracked at all, and most of the “conversions” Google reported were map views.

What was wrong
- WhatsApp, the clinic’s main enquiry channel, was not tracked.
- Google was counting map views as conversions, so the reports looked healthy while the phone stayed quiet.
- The budget reached spa, job and home-massage searches through partner and display networks.
What we did
Fixed the enquiry tracking
Every WhatsApp click, call and form is now counted once.
Stopped the budget going to the wrong searches
We switched off partner and display networks and blocked 320 search terms such as spa, jobs and home massage.
Rebuilt the campaign around patient searches
Physiotherapy, dry needling and pain treatment, each with its own ads.
Rewrote every ad
Ads now match the searches, and we removed claims the clinic could not prove.
Used the clinic’s own booking counts
Budget moves to the searches that book, not only the ones that enquire.
SEO alongside the ads
Page titles and descriptions rewritten, the blog linked to the service pages, and an Arabic landing page launched.
The results
August is approximate (about 1 in 6). September is measured.
| August | about 1 in 6 |
|---|---|
| September | 1 in 4 |
- 119 tracked enquiries by WhatsApp, phone and form, at an average of AED 54 each.
- In September 1 in 4 ad clicks became an enquiry, up from about 1 in 6 in August.
- Clicks from Google search grew about 30% in four weeks.
Numbers are from the clinic’s own Google Ads and Search Console accounts. We do not show a “before” figure, because enquiry tracking was broken before we started and any comparison would be a guess. We do not publish client names without their permission.

Most accounts we take over have the same few problems: tracking that does not count real enquiries, budget going to the wrong searches, and a page that loses people on phones. Tell us what you sell and we will say plainly what we would fix first.
